Last night the Westford Board of Health approved an emergency waiver to treat the school fields and parks for mosquitos.
There has been an uptick in positive cases of EEE and WNV. The Health Department has been working with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and Central Mass Mosquito Project. A consensus was made to spray the school fields and parks to reduce residents’ risk of contracting a mosquito borne illness.
