Westford Recreation supports the community with safe and affordable programming. Programs are designed to engage participants with activities that are enriching, inclusive, and fun, many utilizing Town of Westford resources, such as Public School facilities, East Boston Camps, and Edwards Beach.

Westford Partnership for Children (WPC)
Recreation's After School Enrichment Program for grades K-5
Since 2004, Westford Partnership for Children has provided the community with a safe, stimulating, and fun environment for Westford’s school children during after school hours. WPC’s experienced staff fosters meaningful relationships with each student, while focusing on three critical concepts: safety, positive youth development, and academic enrichment and support.
Westford Recreation's WPC program for grades K-5 runs Monday-Friday from school dismissal to 5:45 p.m. at the following seven schools: Abbot, Crisafulli, Day, Miller, Nabnasset, and Robinson.

Westford Recreation Special Programs for K-8
GREAT Programming During School Closings*
Westford Recreation Special Programs provide support for parents and children with full-day and full-week programs during Westford Public School parent conferences, professional development days, and December, February, and April school vacations*. Special program events are educational, inspiring, and FUN, and include a variety of locations and activities.
December, February, and April Vacation Special Programs are available for grades K-8.
Enrollment is open to children from Westford, as well as to children from Westford's surrounding communities.
Program event details, including fees, can be found on Special Program registration forms. Forms will be available three weeks prior to the event date, online, or at 65 Main Street, 3rd floor, in Westford.

Westford Recreation Summer Weekly Programs for age 4-13
Westford Recreation Summer Weekly programs for children are packed with activities designed for each program’s mission and age group. Led by the Site Directors who run our popular afterschool enrichment program (WPC), these lively, full-week programs are staffed with energetic counselors – high school and college aged – who are First Aid and CPR certified.
Our Summer Weekly Programs tap into three Town of Westford resources, Edwards Beach, Nabnasset School, and Burges Pond at East Boston Camps, providing a great summertime setting for beach and waterfront activities. All activities are monitored by certified lifeguards specifically hired for Recreation summer programs.

Fast-Paced, fun-filled activities, both inside and outdoors, for children at all levels. For ages 4-13, Monday-Friday.

Beaches, Swimming, and more with Westford Recreation
Forge Pond Beach and Edwards Beach 2023 Season: June 26 through August 19, 2023.
The Snack Shacks and Bathrooms at Edwards Beach and Forge Pond Beach will be open during the 2023 season noted above.
Beach hours and fees for the 2023 season:
Hours: Monday-Sunday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Fee: Westford Residents are free, but must have proof of residency.
Nonresidents are $5 per person, per day. (Charge includes access to the Forge Beach Playground and the Ronan McElligott playground at Edwards Beach.)
Nonresidents may purchase a season pass at the beaches for $75 for a family of five.
Three and under, and 65 and over are free. Pricing for nonresidents is subject to change.

Edwards Beach and Forge Pond Beach are community resources to be enjoyed by the public year round from dawn to dusk. During the off-season, please help us keep these facilities clean by following a carry-in/carry-out trash protocol. We appreciate your help!
