    Westford Animal Control Officers help the public deal with problems caused by animals. They also work with other local agencies, such as social services and law enforcement, to protect all members of families, both 2-legged and 4-legged.

    The mission of the Building Department is to protect the public by reviewing, approving and inspecting the built environment, to impartially enforce all rules, regulations and by-laws that pertain to both the State Building Codes and By-Laws of The Town of Westford, and to assist - to the best of our ability - all customers with any questions, concerns or complaints.

    The Westford Emergency Management Agency is the town agency responsible for coordinating federal, state, local, volunteer, and private resources during emergencies and disasters in the Town of Westford.

    The Westford Fire Department was established in 1908, and has served the community for over 100 years.

    The mission of the Westford Health Department / Board of Health is to achieve the highest level of wellness for all Westford residents and employees by reducing the incidence of illness and death.

  6. Medical Reserve

    The Upper Merrimack Valley MRC is one of 45 Medical Reserve Corps units in Massachusetts - and one of 990 across America - that is actively recruiting and training volunteers in case of emergencies.

  7. Police Department

    The primary purpose of the Westford Police Department is to provide a high level of safety, security and service for all members of the community.

  8. EMS / Ambulance

    The Westford Fire Department operates one of the oldest running Ambulance Services in the Greater Lowell area.
