Please be advised that Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker has ordered that the United States flag and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts flag be lowered to half-staff at all state buildings beginning immediately, until further notice, in honor of Officer Michael Chesna of the WeymouthPolice Department who tragically died in the line on Sunday, July 15, 2018.
Update: Please be advised that the date of interment for Officer Michael Chesna of the Weymouth Police Department has been set for Friday, July 20, 2018. As such Massachusetts Governor Charles D. Baker has ordered that the United States flag and the Commonwealth flags at all state buildings should remain at half-staff until sunset, Friday, July 20, 2018
