On February 6th, Perkins' Conroy Speakers Series presents
Screenagers Next Chapter: Uncovering Skills for Stress Resilience. We hope you'll join us for this event, which is free and open to the public.
Filmmaker and physician Dr. Delaney Ruston takes the conversation around screens and teens to the next level with "Screenagers NEXT CHAPTER: Uncovering Skills for Stress Resilience" - a film that examines the science behind teen's emotional challenges, the interplay of social media, and most importantly, what can be done in our schools and homes to help them build crucial skills to navigate stress, anxiety, and depression in our digital age.
Parents are encouraged to bring their children. And please note that you do not have to have seen the first film to enjoy the second.
Following the film, a discussion will be facilitated by Sharon Lowry, MSW, Perkins Assistant Director of Education and Bridget Matte, LSW, Clinical Coordinator of Perkins' Day School program.
