The following places are listed as where a person could have been potentially exposed to measles:
TUESDAY, MARCH 26
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 27
THURSDAY, MARCH 28
Measles is very contagious. People who are not immune who visited any of the locations could be at risk for developing measles and are advised to contact their health care provider to confirm their immunization status. Measles can be especially dangerous for young children, the CDC says. It can lead to pneumonia, brain swelling and even death. The CDC recommends children get their first dose MMR vaccine at between 12 and 15 months old and a second dose when they’re between 4 and 6 years old.
