What are YOUR Recreational Priorities?

Westford Parks & Recreation’s mission is to provide enriching experiences that enhance the quality of life of Westford’s town residents. To that end, the department offers high-quality, safe activities and services designed to meet the year-round interests of the overall community.

In 2015, Parks & Recreation developed a Recreation Master Plan to assess the future priorities of the department’s facilities, programs, and services. As part of this process, the department implemented a town-wide, online survey to learn more about the recreation opportunities the community was most interested in. The survey results were incorporated into the Recreation Master Plan.

Moving forward will be the implementation of a Recreation Master Plan Feasibility Study. To ensure the feasibility study effectively targets the community’s recreational interests, Parks & Recreation will mail a statistically valid survey to randomly chosen households throughout the Westford community. The additional data gathered in this survey will help focus and define the Recreation Master Plan Feasibility Study criteria.
