It’s Westford Community Rowing (WCR) Regatta Season

There are only two more spring regattas — spectators welcome!

The Amber Zapatka Memorial Regatta (Lowell Invitational):
May 13-14, Merrimack River, Lowell MA

Come enjoy 2,000m racing on the Merrimack River: This is the second largest spring regatta that WCR attends and will be a warm-up weekend for Northeast Regionals. WCR will be sending a full squad.

USRowing Northeast Youth Championships:
May 20-21, Lake Quinsigammond, Worcester MA

Come experience 2,000m racing on one of the most famous race courses in the US: WCR will be sending a full squad to Worcester. The top three finishers in first varsity events will earn an invitation to USRowing Youth Nationals in Sarasota, Florida.

Westford Community Rowing (WCR) is a Westford Parks & Recreation program that is supported by Westford Friends of Recreation (WFOR), a volunteer board whose mission is to improve the recreational opportunities that are available to the community.

WCR provides a rowing experience that is on and off the water. The WCR program is both competitive and recreational, for rowers of all ages and abilities, from novices to experienced oarspeople. To learn more about this low-impact, heart-healthy sport visit About Rowing on westfordrec.com.
