COVID Update From GOVERNOR:

Governor Baker’s announcement regarding the close to the preregistration system for vaccine appointments and the expansion of the state homebound vaccination program to eligibility individuals who are not yet vaccinated. Individuals can call (833) 983-0485 to register for an in-home vaccination. The registration phone line is open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM and has representatives who speak English and Spanish, as well as translation services available in 100+ languages.

 

 

Gaining Grounds out of Concord Sponsors 16 Week Organic Vegetable Distribution
Held: Every Thursday tentative start date, June 3rd- Numbers distributed starting at 1PM

To participate one must participate or meet income guidelines of one of the following programs: fuel assistance, reside in income-based housing, SNAP and /or Free and Reduced Lunch Program.  The distribution will be held once again at the Westford Housing Authority Community Room parking lot located at 65 Tadmuck Road.  The freshly picked vegetables and fruits will be pre-bagged and distributed at 1:30. First come first served limited to 40 households. For additional questions please call Annette Cerullo, COA Outreach Coordinator at 978-399-2326.

Father’s Day Lunch Under the Tents  
(spouse and/friend are welcome, too)
June 18th at noon  

In honor of Westford fathers throughout the Cameron community, our COA will offer a lunch prepared by local BBQ favorite Brian Ryder which will include his tasty pulled pork sandwich, cole slaw, chips and ice cream.   Vegetarian option is available just specify at sign-up by calling 978-692-5523.  
Cost FREE for fathers and $5 for other attendees. Special thanks to Eastern Bank and the Greater Lowell Community Foundation- COVID relief fund for their sponsorships.

 

Second Annual Corn Hole Tournament Under the Tents
Friday, June 29th starting at 9:30AM 

Double elimination which will allow the fun to go longer. Also, we are appreciative of Scott Topjian who donated our cornhole boards so we could enjoy this annual event that many enjoy. Tournament sign-up call 978-692-5523. Cold refreshments will be provided.
