In June 2016, the Cameron thrift shop was renamed in honor of Trudy Laslie, a long-time volunteer who was a driving force behind the shop for many years. Open to the public weekdays, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Trudy’s Boutique features: clothing, jewelry, unique gifts, vintage treasures, decorative furnishings, and useful household items. Located on the second floor of the Cameron Senior Center, the shop is handicapped accessible and reachable via an elevator.
Staffed entirely by volunteers, Trudy’s Boutique is run by Friends of the Cameron Senior Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All proceeds raised go toward supporting the programs, activities and outreach services of the Cameron Senior Center.
To keep our thrift shop going, donations of cash and/or merchandise are gratefully welcomed year round. All donations are tax-deductible. In season clothing and clean, usable household items are especially needed.
