Scholarship & Grant Committee

Mission Statement

(Approved and updated July 15, 2015)
The mission of the Town of Westford Scholarship and Grant (SAG) Committee is to provide educational financial aid to deserving Westford residents and provide supplemental educational funding for local educational needs and for existing adult literacy programs. The SAG is appointed by the Board of Selectmen pursuant to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 60, Section 3C. The SAG Committee oversees the Scholarship Fund and the Arts and Technology Fund, both funded by tax payer donations to provide funding for these scholarships and grants.

The Grant Applications are due by January 31, 2017.
  • The balance on the Arts and Technology Fund, as of December 1,2016 is $1,704.
The Scholarship Applications are due by March 16, 2017.
  • The balance on the Scholarship Fund, as of December 1,2016 is $13,762.
