Temporary Food Events
The Westford Health Department requires that all temporary food events that are open to the public be reviewed and permitted. An application for a Temporary Food Permit
must be submitted to the Health Department for review at least two weeks prior to the event. Please note that a Certified Food Protection Manager may be required in some instances to oversee safe food preparation

Bake sales are limited to informal activities where cakes, cookies, fruit pies, or similar low-risk foods are sold to the public. They are a one-time, one-location event. These events do not require a permit.

Pot Luck Meals
