  1. Animal Control

    Westford Animal Control Officers help the public deal with problems caused by animals. They also work with other local agencies, such as social services and law enforcement, to protect all members of families, both 2-legged and 4-legged.

  2. Building Department

    The mission of the Building Department is to protect the public by reviewing, approving and inspecting the built environment, to impartially enforce all rules, regulations and by-laws that pertain to both the State Building Codes and By-Laws of The Town of Westford, and to assist - to the best of our ability - all customers with any questions, concerns or complaints.

  3. Council on Aging

    The Council on Aging strives to improve the quality of life for Westford residents who are aged 60 or older and to provide services, advocacy and resource information.

  4. Emergency Management

    The Westford Emergency Management Agency is the town agency responsible for coordinating federal, state, local, volunteer, and private resources during emergencies and disasters in the Town of Westford.

  5. Engineering Department

    The Engineering Department is committed to working with other departments to discover and identify infrastructure deficiencies that cause hardship, inconvenience or expense to the Town of Westford and its inhabitants, and will provide effective solutions that resolve or preclude those deficiencies.

  7. Fire Department

    The Westford Fire Department was established in 1908, and has served the community for over 100 years.

    The mission of the Town of Westford GIS Department is to promote, and develop a geographic information system resource for local decision makers and the general public.

  2. Health Department

    The mission of the Westford Health Department / Board of Health is to achieve the highest level of wellness for all Westford residents and employees by reducing the incidence of illness and death.

  3. Highway Department

    The highway department services nearly 175 miles of roads, doing resurfacing, road improvements, and snow removal. The department is also responsible for care of the common grounds around municipal buildings except the schools.
