The Hill Orchard sits on approximately 20 acres off Hunt Road and Chamberlain Roads.  The Orchard has a mix of fruit trees (pomes and stone fruits) primarily apples but a selection of peach, plum, pear, apricot, nectarines and pluots.  The property was purchased in the late 1990’s to preserve Westford’s agricultural heritage.  Since that time the town has contracted with a farm manager to keep the orchard in production.  Some years the fruit production is great and when the farmer opens the orchard to pick your own apples the are abundant and large.  Chamberlain Road is very scenic with the spring fruit tree blossoms.  The property is bordered in part by the “Long Trail” which runs between the Mystery Spring and Cider Mill Pond conservation lands.
