It has been a great pleasure to conduct this survey of Westford's historical records. The Towns history is rich and its historical record very complete, with documents from the 1700s to the present. Many individuals have devoted themselves to preserving the Towns history, and I was fortunate to meet and talk to many of them during the course of this work. I hope the survey and the recommendations in it further the important work being done to preserve the Towns past.
