Usefulness and Importance: Mr. Green believes most of the paper is on microfilm, but isn't sure of the dates. Maintains a "pretty good" clip file for 6-7 years only, and keeps photos for about 10 years. Since the paper is now located in Concord, few people from Westford drop in for information. Dates: ? -- present Est. Cu. Ft: Unknown Condition: Library has the paper on microfilm from 1978 - present. Recommendations: The J.V. Fletcher Library should obtain microfilm of any years it doesn't already own. Since the newspaper is not indexed, any collections that include newspaper clippings arranged by subject are important and should be maintained.
