Recycling Commission

Trash

Every week, your household trash will be picked up at the curb. There is no additional fee for the general trash that goes in your trash barrels (up to five 30 gal. capacity barrels). That is covered by your property tax. A $10.00 bulk sticker will need to be purchased for items that don't fit into the trash barrel: mattresses, bikes, furniture, etc. More information is included in the Westford Recycling Brochure, available at the Town Clerk's office and on the Recycling Commission's website.

Recycling

Recycling bins are available at the Town Clerk's office. New residents get one free recycling bin and additional bins are $6.00 each.

Recycling is picked up every other week. The recycling brochure (available at the Town Clerk's Office) contains a recycling schedule and lots of great information about recycling in Westford.
